Selamat Hari Merdeka Malaysia
Now, that reminds me of and old song which was aired in RTM few years back. Remember the "Malaysiaaaa... ohhhh tanah airku... Tanahhhh tempat tumpah daaaarahhhh ku.. Negeri elok.... (come let us sing together yaa.. :) )" I wouldnt want to comment on the "Negeri Elok.." part as we know right now how shitty Malaysia is in. Nevertheless, the condition we are in is made by those who govern us, not by what Malaysia as a country provides us. Thus, having said that, i still love Malaysia for its beautiful places, delicious food, great people, wonderful and colourful festivals and so on. I would not have become what i am now if it is not the beloved mother of Malaysia. I am proud to grow up along side by side with Malaysia.
So, Malaysian bloggers, do take a bit of time and paste this "Merdeka" feeling as a part of showing your patriotism. I am sure if we can do lots of other memes and tags, we can do this. Yes we can.. there you go :) . Btw, if it is not much trouble, have a picture ( Semangat Merdeka) on your sidebar from now until 16 September as a support to our beloved Malaysia. The illo was made by the beautiful, cute, creative and talented Sabahan Blogger known as mangosteenskin. I call her mango. Ohh, please give credit to Mango ya.
Now, on the spirit of independence - i would like to tag these people. Sorry people - this is not a request but an order.. hehe just kiding. But hey, come on and jump on this good tag feeling and show your patriotism. It would not hurt a bit. But i m sure you, you will have a great feeling after doing this.
